Cubs do the JOTT

No, that’s not the successor to The Floss. JOTT is Jamboree on the Trail, is an annual day for the World Scout Movement to hike together. All Scouts, whatever their age and wherever they may be in the world, are invited to participate in whatever way they can.

3rd & 4th Norwich and 1st Drayton Cub packs took part in this year’s event on Saturday 11 May, walking from Erpingham to Felbrigg Hall, a distance of roughly 8 miles.

The weather was really nice and the Cubs got to make friends from other packs. They all completed the walk and learnt how to follow an ordnance survey map.

It went so well that arrangements were made between the leaders for the 2 packs to get together for an evening the next week to play wide games and make fires.
