Homeless Scouts for the Night
Scouts and Explorers took to cardboard boxes one chilly autumnal night to learn about homelessness.
The biannual Northern Norwich District “Celebration of Scouting Achievements” awards night took place once again at St Catherine’s Church, Mile Cross on Friday 16th October, with around 100 recipients in attendance.

Two teams from Northern Norwich represented the District at the County Shooting Competition which was held at Taverham on the 26th September.
There was lots of fun to be had at the recent Northern Norwich District “World of Adventure” Camp held earlier in July!
Scouts from Northern Norwich stole the show at the recent County Archery Competition earlier in June, with both teams earning podium positions.
Two action packed days with tents, towers, fires, archery, cooking, shooting, catapults and more!

The annual Northern Norwich Master at Arms competition took place recently with a record number of entries from across the district.
One night. 50 awards. 2 dedicated Young Leaders. 3 outstanding, life saving scouts. It can only be the latest Northern Norwich Scout District Celebration of Scouting Achievements evening!
2014 has been one busy year for the 27th Norwich (New Costessey) Scout Group and the year was rounded off in style at their “Big 80th Birthday Bash”.
